The SW Series consists of a range of compact subwoofers. All systems represent the current niveau of feasibility in terms of size and performance and are optimally adjusted to the CA and Line 212 Series. The SW systems have a wide range of application and convince with uses where a powerful and differentiated bass playback with high acoustic pressure is expected. In combination with the CA and Line 212 Series, the optimal controlling is achieved using the K&F CD 44 Digital System Controller or the K&F TOPAS. A switchable passive low-pass filter is optionally available for selected models of the SW Series.
Logical equipment features and a variety of additionally available options complete the series of the SW models, which can also be combined with one another.
About the technology: An extremely stable and complex tunnel and enclosure construction reduce the friction loss and distortion resulting from high air speeds to a minimum. The exponentially expanding tunnel geometry of the subwoofers is responsible for a decisive share of the excellent performance of this series. All subwoofers have the most modern long excursion chassis technology with highly efficient cooling.
The enclosure of the SW series is optimised for two ranges of use: SW for mobile uses and, as the SWi model, for fixed installations. The stacking foot grooves and plastic gliding feet for the mobile versions guarantee safe stacking of matching enclosures. The integrated ergonomic handles which are located at the balance point facilitate an easy handling. The installation variations can be flown using the covered M12 threaded inserts. Using the certified 'Click & Fly®' rigging system and the corresponding system connectors, the SW 215E 'Suspension' is combinable with the Line 212 systems to create a suspendable unit.
